A Story of Courage, Love, and Purpose
Harlyn’s Heroes was created in honour of our brave daughter Harlyn, who was diagnosed with DIPG, an aggressive brainstem tumour, in June 2024 at just 7 years old. DIPG has an average survival rate of only 8–12 months, and research into this devastating childhood cancer remains critically underfunded worldwide. Harlyn is from beautiful Cornwall in the UK and finds peace and joy in the ocean, where the water has become her greatest source of comfort and therapy.
Through Harlyn’s Heroes, we are committed to raising awareness of DIPG and childhood cancers, while also taking meaningful action to support families facing the same unimaginable journey.
Our Charity Objectives
Our mission is centred on compassion, hope, and impact. Through Harlyn’s Heroes, we aim to:
To provide financial support to families affected by childhood cancer.
To grant wishes & gift ‘memory making’ trips for children with cancer.
Provide funding for research of DIPG Brain tumours.
